Cedric Crenshaw serves as Special Projects Group Manager at CMC Development & Construction, where he leads the delivery of small to mid-sized projects requiring speed, flexibility, and close coordination with clients and field teams. Cedric’s leadership is grounded in hands-on experience and a deep understanding of construction execution, having progressed through the ranks at CMC from Project Engineer to Area Superintendent before assuming his current management role.

With over 15 years of total industry experience, Cedric brings a field-first mindset to every project. His background includes managing renovations, interior buildouts, additions, and new construction across higher education, municipal, infrastructure, faith-based, and workforce development facilities. His project experience includes work for the Port of Houston, Gulf Coast Water Authority, Texas Southern University, University of Houston, and multiple community-focused organizations.

Cedric has overseen projects ranging from complex interior renovations to ground-up athletic and multi-purpose facilities, with scopes involving office environments, labs, training rooms, historic auditoriums, and mixed-use spaces. His time in the field has strengthened his expertise in coordination, safety, schedule control, and quality execution—skills that are critical to the fast-paced nature of special projects delivery.

OSHA 30-Hour certified and trained in CPR, First Aid, and AED response, Cedric emphasizes jobsite safety, clear communication, and accountability. As Special Projects Group Manager, he works closely with clients, trade partners, and internal teams to ensure projects are executed efficiently while upholding CMC’s standards of quality and professionalism.
